Indigenous Cultural Awareness Workshop

This workshop is an associated program of the Lord Mayor’s Welcome for International Students 2021. For a full list of associated programs visit here.

Do you want to learn more about Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander cultures and history?

This virtual, interactive workshop delivered by Corporate Culcha will help you develop greater understanding of Indigenous cultures and provide opportunities for participants to reflect on how culture shapes our values, attitudes and behaviours.

The session also explores the diversity of Indigenous communities and how their history relates to health and well-being, employment and social inclusion.

This program is designed to expand an individual's thinking and understanding of the Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander community, its history and contemporary issues, and to increase understanding between you and the Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander community.

The workshop will be held online via Zoom on Tuesday 17 March 2021 at 2pm-4.30pm (AEDT).

Tickets are free but registration is essential. Please note that spots are limited so only register if you are able to make the event.
